Dear Valley Groom-to-Be: I researched your question and found that neither I, nor others, seem to know about this tradition of which you speak. There are many customs, rituals and traditions that continue to be passed down from generation to generation. If you’d like to see what traditions are practiced around the world, check out my article “International Wedding Customs.”
