The wedding traditions of other people are often strange to us, but attending such ceremonies is a wonderful way to open our eyes to the many different customs and rituals out there. That said...
Dear Wedding Guru: “I’ve been invited to two weddings... for the same couple. The bride is of one religion and the groom another. In lieu of having two officiants at the ceremony, they opted to have two ceremonies in two different places — one in the morning and one in the evening. (A reception follows the second wedding.) I’ve never been in this position before — do I attend both ceremonies? Can I assume that there’s something to eat after the morning ceremony, or will we need to fend for ourselves for lunch?”
