Regardless of budget or resources, some wedding traditions simply need to be scrapped! Here’s one:
A Hudson Valley bride asks: “My mother and I have a disagreement that I hope you can resolve. I really would like to omit wedding favors. For the most part, I find them useless and tacky. I’ve never taken home a party favor that didn’t get tossed in the garbage. It seems that they’re a real waste of money and are ecologically objectionable. Mom disagrees. Who’s right on this one?”
