Not in the Wedding Party, But Part of the Wedding

A mother of the bride finds a special way to employ her young nieces in her daughter’s wedding

It amazes me how many people go out of their way to recognize, honor, and thank those they find special in their lives. Whether those guests are adults or youngsters, a wedding is a wonderful time to make everyone feel, well... really good!

A Valley mother-of-the-bride asks: “My daughter’s three young female cousins (aged eight to 10) will not be in the wedding party, but she’d like to include them somehow so they feel part of the day. She thought they could help by passing out programs, bubbles, or sachets — something before and after the ceremony.

We’d like to include their names in the program, but we’re not sure what to use as a title. Any suggestions regarding a name for these children would be wonderful.”
