The Placid Baker

Try: Baguette

Few things in life are better than the simple enjoyment of a fresh baguette. It’s a full sensory experience, starting with the smell of the dough, the sight of the golden loaf, the sound of the crackling crust, the touch of the warm bread, and the taste of the plush interior. The Placid Baker understands that. It sells picture-perfect loaves that radiate heat from their time in the oven and are a delight to submerge into tomato soup. On the sweeter side of the spectrum, the biscuits and macarons are pretty darn tasty as well.
