Spa Week arrives in the Hudson Valley — phew, finally!

With a less-than-pleasant winter still weighing heavily on our shoulders, everyone could use a little R&R these days.

The 11th Annual Spa Week, taking place April 12-18, offers consumers an opportunity to indulge in various treatments that are both relaxing and wallet-friendly (many, if not most, services are priced at just $50). Close to 1,000 sanctuaries nationwide take part in the event; the services they offer range from the simple to the luxurious — everything from basic manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials to extravagant treats such as the 10 Hands Massage (performed by five therapists). For the first time, Spa Week participants have a chance to win a Wellness Giveaway, gifting lucky winners with a combo of indulgences including a massage, detoxifying wrap, and facial.
With numerous New York area retreats participating (including Buttermilk Falls in Milton and about a dozen Westchester County establishments), Spa Week serves as the perfect opportunity to break through the winter blues — without breaking the bank.
