Poughkeepsie-based American Heating and Cooling has partnered with the geothermal company Dandelion to provide geothermal heating and cooling options to Valley residents.
The companies will be offering end-to-end sales and installation services of Dandelion Home Geothermal Systems. The systems provide efficient heating, air conditioning, and hot water, and are low maintenance and fuel-free, eliminating the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and improving indoor air quality. American Heating and Cooling will be responsible for the site survey, system design, installation of the systems, and Dandelion will provide sales, software for installation process, and system design.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Dandelion,” said Mike Bloch, co-owner of American Heating and Cooling. “Unlike most industries, heating and cooling technology has not changed very much over the past 35 years. Dandelion’s innovation and technology brings home heating and cooling into the 21st century.”
