Hudson Valley Food Truck Festival

This event occurs monthly, on the third Thursday of July, August, September and October.

In what could only be the greatest congregation of meals on wheels in all of history, the Hudson Valley Food Truck Festival joins food trucks from around the region to deliver their delicious dishes. Noodles, German-style pizza, hot dogs, and BBQ make up just some of the available fare. Guests enjoy music, entertainment, and a beer and wine garden, too.

October wouldn't be complete without the Hunter Mountain Oktoberfest, a weekend-long event. Beer lovers can head to the northern Catskills for a weekend of authentic German and German-American entertainment. Expect a sea of lederhosen, steins full of the finest libations, and a knackwurst or two.

Nyack Halloween Parade

The Nyack Halloween Parade is the largest parade of its kind outside New York City. Participants and floats assemble at 3 p.m. in Memorial Park to show off their ghoulish getup for the costume contest. The parade steps off at 5:30 p.m. and ends at the Main Street parking lot where the cash-prize winners are announced.
