“What makes life worth living?” One may say, collaborating with brilliant art-leaders in our community by sharing the power of professional live theatre. DENIZEN Theatre is excited and honored to have TMI Project’s Co-Founder Eva Tenuto direct ’Every Brilliant Thing’ by Duncan Macmillan playing April 3rd to April 28th.
Eva Tenuto is the co-founder and executive director of TMI Project, a non-profit company dedicated to allowing individuals a safe space to share their stories of hardship, love and social justice through personal storytelling. Eva will share her talents as a storyteller, stigma-buster, culture-shifter, and lover of the truth by directing this uplifting new play about how a person copes with and rises above their mother's mental health.
Since 2010, Eva has brought TMI Project from her living room to a host of performance spaces, schools, detention centers, mental health facilities and the United Nations. In 2018, her directorial film debut, Vicarious Resilience, a docu-short, celebrated its world premiere at The Woodstock Film Festival. Eva is the editor and director of multiple solo shows, one of which was awarded Best Comedic Script of 2014 in the United Solo Festival. Eva’s own true stories have been published in numerous anthologies. For more information about the TMI Project please visit tmiproject.org.
‘Every Brilliant Thing’ by Duncan Macmillan directed by Eva Tenuto, starring Terri Weagant is sure to bring us closer as a community, share in the wonderment of truthful storytelling, and delight our hearts and minds.
