The Library is pleased to host a month long exhibit of paintings by Fred Fodera. Fred, a Hopewell resident, is a self-taught artist. He has been painting with acrylics since the year 2000. He also does pencil sketching and working with colored pencils. He enjoys taking and using photographs for reference, but he also uses his imagination for many of his designs. His favorite subject to paint is owls and other birds in landscape settings. Fred has had success in capturing that special quality in pets, and has done a number of pet portraits on commission. He takes joy in being able to create a lasting image of a special pet for owners.
Fred is always striving to become a better artist each and every day of his life. His exhibit will be on exhibit through the month of November.
