The Mid-Hudson Adirondack Mountain Club leads a hike along the new Mine Hole Trail at Minnewaska State Park Preserve in honor of National Trails Day (June 2). Take a “Happy for Herps” walk with herpetologist Bill Cutler to look for snakes, turtles, frogs and other creatures on the Bashakill walkways (June 3). Other events include paddling on Ulster County’s Wallkill River (June 10), and a hike and late picnic lunch on Bear Mountain (June 23).
