Sep 2, 2013 to Dec 31, 2013
Stop by the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum and spend some time in the newest exhibit. Billed as a “pop-up adventure playground,” the museum’s play area is home to a set of giant blue blocks. Staffers can move the blocks to various places — including other rooms in the building, outside on the pavilion, or even to nearby Waryas Park (weather permitting). Kids then use the blocks to build anything they can think of — from animals and pets to cities and forts.
Schedule: Tues.-Sun. throughout the year. 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
