In celebration of Earth Day and to inspire the community to help keep Newburgh clean and green, Safe Harbors of the Hudson and many local organizations will hold the sixth annual Newburgh Community Cleanup Saturday, April 22. This is an opportunity for community members, young and old, to be a part of what’s great in the City of Newburgh.
This is NOT a bulk pickup day.
Registration for the cleanup will begin at 8 a.m.
Teams will hit the streets at 9 a.m. and gather back at 12 p.m. at Safe Harbors for a post-cleanup barbecue.
Safe Harbors is seeking cleanup participants of all ages. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. to the Broadway/Liberty Street Lot, adjacent to the Ritz Theater. Supplies will be provided to participants when they arrive at 111 Broadway. For more information about the event or to get involved, contact June Henley at (845) 784-1110 or email@example.com
Please print and complete the Community Cleanup Waiver form on our website, www.safe-harbors.org and bring it with you to the event.
