Ron Charles of the Washington Post writes in his review of Susan Orlean’s The Library Book: “ Orlean, a longtime New Yorker writer, has been captivating us with human stories for decades, and her latest book is a wide-ranging, deeply personal, and terrifically engaging investigation of humanity’s bulwark against oblivion: the library.” Finally, from the New York Times review: "In “No Ashes in the Fire,” Darnell Moore writes a deeply personal memoir of growing up in the cross hairs of racism and homophobia in Camden, N.J., in the 1980s and ’90s."

These books are all available for borrowing through the Mid-Hudson Library System.
