Out of Africa and onto the Farm Reflecting On Senegal, New Works By Artist Ryan Cronin, Hosted by La Luna Farms

Please join us on Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 5 to 8 pm on  La Luna Farm to welcome home Artist Ryan Cronin from his month at Thread Artist Residency and Cultural Center in Senegal, West Africa through the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation. Celebrate over cocktails and conversation and see his latest works inside La Luna Farm's newest event space.  All works will be for sale. A portion of the sales will be donated to the Hudson Valley Writing Project and Le Korsa.

About Artist Ryan Cronin

Since the early 1990’s, Ryan Cronin has been approaching his practice from a place of inclusivity and cultural awareness. As a painter, sculptor, muralist, and product designer he reconfigures the world through art. Cronin maintains a permanent gallery and shop in New Paltz, NY in Water Street Market. Recently he has opened pop-up locations in Westport, CT and Pound Ridge, NY and he continues to show his work in galleries globally. You can always find his original works and merchandise online at 

About La Luna Farm

La Luna farm is an established hunter/jumper show barn that can help the beginner rider to the advanced rider set and excel with their equestrian goals.  La Luna is expanding to open an event space in our post and bean, Amish built barn overlooking the beautiful Shawangunk mountains.

The Hudson Valley Writing Project at SUNY New Paltz, founded in 2001, is dedicated to promoting teacher leadership, the teaching of writing and literacy development in all disciplines and at all levels of education, preschool through college. The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation established Le Korsa in 2005 and they have generously continued to support the NFP through a variety of administrative and project-based grants and donations. Le Korsa is a dynamic non-profit organization that works directly with dedicated doctors, teachers, and students in Senegal to improve human lives.
