This event occurs monthly, on the first Monday of January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.
CUB’S PLACE The mission of CUB’S PLACE is to provide activities and resource centers for children (grades K-5) in the Hudson Valley who are coping with a serious family illness or crisis. The sessions are facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This group meets the second Friday of each month, except July and August, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
PEDIATRIC CHRONIC ILLNESS SUPPORT GROUP The Pediatrics Staff provides group activities designed to enhance the well-being of chronically ill patients and their parents. Through these supportive, recreational activities we help to build healthy children. These activities are once per month usually on a Saturday or Sunday.
AUTISM SUPPORT GROUP Is a support group for parents affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. The program is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The program meets on the third Wednesday of each month. The group does not meet in July and August.
ADHD SUPPORT GROUP Is a support group for parents of children with ADHD. The group is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This group meets the first Wednesday of each month with the exception of January and September. The group does not meet in July and August.
JUVENILE DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP A support group for parent and children affected by Type 1 Diabetes or Juvenile Diabetes. This group is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This group meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
