Kadampa Meditation Center New York will present a weekly Meditation Class in Port Jervis, NY titled Freedom From Negative Emotions, Saturdays 4:00-5:30pm at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 31 Main St., Port Jervis, NY.
Don’t let your thoughts ruin your day! Discover why negative states of mind arise and how the tool of meditation and applying Buddha’s timeless wisdom can help us eliminate them. By training in meditation, we can gradually learn to stay peaceful all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.

This meditation class will reveal how we can use Buddhist meditation and positive thinking to transform every moment of our daily life. Class will include guided meditations and short talk providing fundamental instruction on how to meditate and, practical solutions to problems in daily life, inducing genuine optimism and increased happiness. Great for Beginners. You do not need to bring any mats or wear any special clothing. We sit in chairs, and there is no physical exercise, yoga, or stretching involved.
