Survival Songs: Gospel Music and Jewish Klezmer

Once again bringing a unique and relevant music event to the city of Newburgh, Ferry Godmother Productions will present a performance of musical history of both gospel music and Jewish klezmer. As part of the African American Heritage Music Trail 2019 the event is set to take place on Sunday June 16th, 2019 4 pm at the oldest African American church in the Hudson Valley, AME Zion 109 Washington Street Newburgh NY. This event supports the summer of free jazz, oldies and jewish music concerts on the Newburgh waterfront. General admission ticket price is $40 in advance atwww.FerryGodmother.com or $50 at the door or elsewhere.
