Winter Swing Dance at the Hudson Armory

Dec 14, 2019
07:00 PM until 10:00 PM

The City of Hudson Senior Center and Hudson Area Library present Winter Swing at the Armory on Saturday, December 14, 7-10pm. To conclude the most recent series of Ballroom Dance Classes held at the library, there will be a live music dance party featuring the Fabulous Versatones, which is open to the public of all ages. Come and relive the dances of the 50s and 60s at the historic Armory!

Attendees do not need to come with a partner and beginners are welcome. Andrew Resto, a professional certified Bronze level dance instructor who regularly teaches a free series of dance classes at the library, will give a short lesson for those attending. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is appreciated, so please visit the main desk at the library, call 518.828.1792 x101, or email to sign up.

This project has been supported by a grant from the Fund for Columbia County of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.

Andrew Resto is a professional certified Bronze level dance instructor who has trained in the Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire systems. He has taught in ballroom studios in Hollywood, New York City and in upstate New York.
