The Kaaterskill Clove was — and still is — a favorite site for artists and visitors to the Catskills. During the 19th century, the Hudson River School painters, as well as writers like Washington Irving, found inspiration in this mountainous region. Kaaterskill Clove: Where Nature Met Art features views of the area painted by four contemporary artists, including the late Thomas Locker.
