Therapeutic Chair Yoga

This event occurs weekly, on Monday and Wednesday.

This class adapts classic yoga postures for students who are limited in movement because of age, illness, disability, or injury.  We use chairs, the wall, straps, blankets, blocks, and gentle assists. This program is recognized by the national Arthritis Foundation as a treatment modality. Your first class is free, membership is required for subsequent classes.

Tunes for Tots with Jeffrey Friedberg of the Bossy Frog Band Ages birth to 5 years old Through instrument playing, singing, and movement, children will develop their music, social, and creativity skills. Jeffrey is a board certified music therapist as well as an award-winning children’s musician. Space is limited – please visit the library’s online calendar to register.
