Hudson Valley Magazine’s Excellence in Nursing is a way to honor the area’s top nurses who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Supervisors at healthcare facilities are invited to nominate nursing staff who they feel deserve special recognition for their service, dedication, and healing.
During the 2013 National Nurses Week in May, we formally honor all nominated nurses at our sixth annual Excellence in Nursing Awards Reception. Nominations are open to nurses in all healthcare settings: hospitals, home healthcare, schools, long-term care facilities, hospice, agencies, and medical practices. The top 20 nurses, voted by a panel of judges, will be featured in the May issue of Hudson Valley Magazine. Nomination period ended on February 18, 2013.
