Maybe we’ve come full circle after spending years using so many fancy gadgets and complicated exercise machines. But the latest “trend” in the fitness world is time-honored body weight training, which incorporates push-ups, planks, pull-ups, squats, lunges, and other gym-class greatest hits. These proven ways to get and stay fit are popping up in a variety of exercise studios and fitness videos. At the same time, people are putting on the gloves — like our fathers and grandfathers — and duking it out with a boxing bag using classic moves. Our love affair with yoga continues, too, although now there are even more options to keep things interesting. We’re sure you’ll find something in this fitness guide to help you think outside the health club. Just remember: the most important thing is to get moving!
