In tough economic times, artistic endeavors need support more than ever. This arts advocacy organization is known for its commitment to keeping the arts alive in the Mid-Hudson. The council assists individual artists and helps raise awareness of the value of the creative spirit — from dance and cinema to painting, music, writing, folk arts, and more. The nonprofit group also presents workshops, kids’ programs, partnership projects with schools, and a full calendar of events throughout the year.
