“We’ve evolved from calling ourselves a ‘fish shack’ — we’re now a ‘seafood house,’ ” laughs Dena White, who co-owns the seafood emporium with her husband, Joe. After 25 years in the wholesale seafood business, they opened the site five years ago. The eatery, which recently received a makeover in this season’s reality TV series Restaurant Impossible, features traditional choices like crab cakes and clam strip platters, a fish of the day, and more than a dozen other delights from the sea — as well as choices for non-seafood fans. “Many customers say they really love the pan-seared scallops,” White says.
