The CIA Restaurants

The Bocuse Restaurant—Opening in 2013

At the brand-new Bocuse Restaurant—opening in 2013—you will experience French cuisine looked at through the lens of modern culinary techniques. The restaurant concept pays homage to the great French Chef Paul Bocuse, who is considered the father of modern French cuisine and was honored by the CIA in 2010 as Chef of the Century. The stunning interior, created by world-renowned restaurant and hotel designer Adam Tihany, only adds to the experience.

American Bounty Restaurant—Celebrating Food of the Americas

The cultural heritage and regional diversity of foods of the Americas (North, Central, and South) is brought to life in the imaginative cuisine at this award-winning restaurant. In addition, Bounty highlights the culinary riches of the Hudson Valley. The ever-popular restaurant has earned the prestigious Restaurant & Institutions Ivy Award. You’ll find the Bounty on the first floor of the college’s stately Roth Hall.

Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici—Authentic Italian

You’ll feel like you’re visiting Tuscany when you enter Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici, located in the magnificent Colavita Center for Italian Food and Wine. The á la carte menu features the seasonal ingredients and authentic flavor combinations of this much-beloved cuisine as well as a diverse selection of Italian wines, beers, and apéritifs. The smaller, casual Al Forno dining room has an antipasto bar, wood-fired oven, and views of the kitchen—perfect for a light meal. This Ivy-Award winner was twice named “Best Duchess County Restaurant” in Hudson Valley magazine’s annual “Best of the Hudson Valley” awards.

St. Andrew’s Café—Local and Sustainable Fare

The award-winning St. Andrew’s Café exemplifies the farm-to-table movement. The á la carte menu highlights locally and sustainably sourced ingredients prepared using both American and European culinary traditions. In 2009, St. Andrew’s Café received a two-star certified restaurant designation from the Green Restaurant Association. Outdoor dining is available in season.

Apple Pie Bakery Café—Sweet and Savory Café Cuisine
