The world today is embroiled in political, societal and financial turmoil- more than ever, individuals struggling to maintain their quality of life and health. Effective and enlightened medical guidance is essential, both to maintain the best health and quality of life possible, but to help restore health during illness.
The doctors of Advanced Cardiovascular Care of the Hudson Valley, as well as their expert staff, are the ideal team to do just that, and the results and outcomes of their patients, speak for themselves. ACCHV was founded by Dr. David Southren, who is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and lipidology, and is well known as an educator and metabolism specialist. From practice inception, he has continued to bring the very latest in medical knowledge, technology, and health care to patients. But just as important, he has maintained the practice philosophy to treat patients FOR THEIR BENEFIT, and to protect them from unwarranted and unnecessary procedures or treatments that are not in their very best health interests.
Over the past 25 years, 3 other outstanding cardiologists have become part of ACCHV, all trained at the best medical institutions in the world. Dr. Lance Kovar, board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology, is one of the best and safest interventionalists in the northeast, opening arteries of the heart and extremities both electively and under extreme emergencies. He joined ACCHV in 2001. Dr. Duane Bryan is a superb clinical cardiologist, joining ACCHV in 2005. He is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, providing vast expertise to the state of the art diagnostic testing facilities of ACCHV. Dr. Jared Corriel, joining the team in 2009, brings new energy, insight, and board certifications in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear medicine and vein disorders. He heads the Vein Center of the practice.
ACCHV has offices in Valley Cottage, NY and Northvale, NJ for ease of access to the offices. They have a full nuclear cardiology and two ultrasound laboratories as well as laser vein treatment facilities, aided by a team of top quality and highly trained technicians. They work closely with many internal medicine practices and other specialists. Most doctors in the community refer their closest relatives to ACCHV cardiologists. The doctors see patients in their offices, and also at Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ, and at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York.
We are all given just one life and one body to carry us through life. We need to trust ourselves to the guidance and care of superb doctors who treat us as they would treat themselves. These are the doctors and the staff at Advanced Cardiovascular Care of the Hudson Valley.
