Dr. Peter Auster of Cosmetic Dentistry Associates has this advice for people looking for a cosmetic practice: “Make sure your dentist is properly trained in the most recent techniques. Ask where and when they took their most recent cosmetic dentistry workshop and what cosmetic organizations they are affiliated with. Many dental offices call themselves ‘cosmetic’ practices, but they have virtually no professional training in this aspect of dentistry.”
