Dr. Glenn Mendoza is the Director of Neonatology at Good Samaritan Hospital. In 1990, Dr. Mendoza came to Rockland County with the sole purpose of building a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that would provide high-quality medical and nursing care for premature and high-risk term infants. Since then, Dr. Mendoza, has directed his efforts toward improving clinical outcomes for the smallest and most vulnerable newborns in Rockland and Orange Counties.
The premature birth rate has reached an all time high and to cater to that demand, Mendoza has developed, and currently directs, the Neurodevelopmental Follow-up Center. The service is dedicated to monitoring growth, language, and development of former premature infants. He recognizes the critical need for close follow-up and developmental screening for all premature infants.
Dr. Mendoza completed his Masters in Public Health at New York Medical College and is the president of the Pediatric Society of Rockland.
