Catering to patients of all ages, Highland Ophthalmology Associates combines the expertise of several board-certified eye doctors offering the latest in eye exams, prescription eyewear, and advanced surgeries (such as cataract surgery, including premium intraocular lens implants, corneal transplants, and advanced glaucoma filtering procedures) with an expansive facility and optical shop to make the practice the all-inclusive eye care center in the Hudson Valley. “Patients should walk out the door having had all their eye care needs met,” says Highland Ophthalmology Associates founder and current medical director, Dr. Mary Davidian.
Having completed a cornea fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Davidian has worked with one of the innovators of modern day cataract surgery. Dr. Davidian’s associate, Dr. Thien Huynh, a graduate of the New York University Medical School, completed his glaucoma fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. Together with two optometrists, Dr. Davidian and Dr. Huynh are able to provide patients with the most advanced care not offered in general ophthalmology practices thanks to their years of specialization.
This June, Highland Ophthalmology Associates moves to its new, 6,000-square-foot facility (double the size of its current one), allowing it to more efficiently accommodate patients; to offer them the most advanced diagnostic equipment available; and to expand its optical shop selections.
