Working together for the past seven years, Dr. Brett Kastin and Dr. Warren Newman have developed an orthodontic practice based on the cornerstones of honesty, integrity, and an unfailing desire for perfection. “The best part of orthodontics is the transformation I can see in my patients’ personalities and confidence when we take their braces off,” says Dr. Kastin. “Seeing their exhilaration is very rewarding.”
“Having so many former patients bring their children to us has also been very gratifying,” says Dr. Newman, who has over 30 years of orthodontic treatment experience. “A particular source of pride is the large number of dentists, specialists, hygienists, and physicians who have brought their families here for their own orthodontic treatment.”
One of the reasons for the loyal following is the team of courteous and well trained staff members, two of which who have been with the office for over 30 years. Another is the extensive office hour schedule, offering flexible appointment times. Wait time is kept to an absolute minimum.
While children and adolescents make up the majority of the patients, adults now comprise twenty percent of their patients. All patients are offered complimentary initial exams, as well as free recall appointments for children.
Dr. Kastin received his DDS and Orthodontic degrees from Columbia University where he has also been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry. He graduated at the top of his class, is Board certified by the American Board of Orthodontists and is a Certified Provider of Invisalign. Dr. Kastin currently serves as President of the Rockland County Dental Society.
Dr. Newman graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry as Valedictorian, and received his Orthodontic and Masters degrees from the University of Washington. He also served on the Rockland County Dental Society’s Board for many years.
They are active members in the ADA, NYS Dental Association, 9th District Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontists, NYS Society of Orthodontists, and the Northeast Society of Orthodontists.
Both live in Rockland County and enjoy serving the communities in which they reside. They have been selected by the dentists in Rockland County as Top Orthodontists in the county each year the award has been in existence.
