Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Daniel George has practiced spinal medicine in the Hudson Valley for twenty years treating teenagers to the elderly. He has performed thousands of spinal procedures from simple microscopic discectomies to complex cervical and lumbar spinal reconstructions. “I specialize in operative and non-operative management of patients with neck and back pain,” says Dr. George, who is fellowship trained in both areas. “My general approach is to try to treat patients without surgery. When surgery is needed, I take great pride in the personal care I give my patients as well as the use of state-of-the-art techniques, including minimally invasive spine surgery where indicated.”
Dr. Evan Rashkoff has extensive experience and expertise in the fields of sports medicine, knee and shoulder surgery. “I do knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction and a full spectrum of shoulder surgery including shoulder arthroscopy and rotator cuff repair,” says Dr. Rashkoff. Selected by his peers as one of America’s Best Orthopedists, Dr. Rashkoff has performed over 5,000 operations during his distinguished career. “I was an all-league football player in college,” says Dr. Rashkoff, “and when I tore my ACL I decided that if I couldn’t be an athlete, I would take care of them.”
“We realize that our most important goal is to treat patients as conservatively as possible, with surgery only when necessary,” says orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Robert Yaghoubian. Fellowship trained in hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder surgery, including microsurgery; Dr. Yaghoubian specializes in upper extremity problems. “I perform rotator cuff and instability procedures including sports related injuries, shoulder reconstruction and replacement surgeries when indicated.” Dr. Yaghoubian also performs repair of complex wrist and hand problems including carpal tunnel release. “All procedures are done with the latest innovations,” he says, “to allow patients to return to work and daily function as soon as possible.”
