Cardiologist Andrew Goldmann, MD, FACC is a solo practitioner who gets to know his patients and their families personally. “I manage all aspects of their cardiovascular care including risk factors, hypertension, intervention and ongoing follow-up,” says the Middletown-based doctor who is affiliated with Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown and Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.
Dr. Goldmann is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology. He provides comprehensive cardiovascular services including nuclear stress tests, echocardiography, carotid artery duplex scanning and testing for peripheral arterial disease. He performs interventional procedures such as stenting for those patients with critical coronary obstruction along with new non-surgical procedures including orbital atherectomy, where a high speed burr is used to clear blockages in leg arteries.
Dr. Goldmann is a graduate of the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in NYC, where he also taught from 1981 to 1997. He opened his private practice in Middletown in 1997.
