Since 1999, Advanced Dental and Oral Surgery has provided Orange County with superior general and cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on patient comfort and convenience. Under the direction of Dr. Ali K. Zangeneh, a highly educated team of six dentists and specialists perform preventative and cosmetic procedures, dental implants, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery.

Another area of specialty at Advanced Dental and Oral Surgery is Children’s Dentristry and Orthodontics. Services for kids include everything from sealants to fillings to extractions in a safe and comfortable environment. Older children in need of orthodontia appreciate the wide range of products available, including clear and colored bands and appliances, and Invisalign®, the no-wire, clear alternative to traditional braces.

Many of the cosmetic procedures performed at Advanced Dental and Oral Surgery can be completed in just one office visit, exemplifying the practice’s emphasis on convenience. The Zoom™ teeth whitening system, for example, can whiten a patient’s teeth up to ten shades whiter in an hour.
Another convenient and time-saving new procedure offered is CEREC 3D technology with CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing). Dr. Zangeneh is one of the only dentists in the region trained to use this equipment to create custom-crafted crowns and onlays without a mold. This technology shortens the usual two-visit procedure to one visit by eliminating the need for impressions and a temporary crown.

Advanced Dental and Oral Surgery remains up-to-date with the latest technology available for patient care, including digital X-rays which produce 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays, and air abrasion, also known as “drill-free” dentistry and a silent alternative to noisy drills.

Dr. Zangeneh has practiced dentistry in the area for nearly two decades. From 1990-1999, he was a partner in Dental Health Associates. In 1999, he opened the doors to Advanced Dental and Oral Surgery. He received his DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry in Hackensack, NJ, and has completed a variety of courses in topics including implant restoration, cosmetic dentistry, laminates, porcelain crowns, and composites. Dr. Zangeneh has also taken courses from the Aesthetic Skin Institute on the Art and Science of Botox and the Art of Dermal Fillers.
