“People have different goals,” says Dr. Seth Horn, DMD, of Aesthetic Family Dentistry. “Some people look to get a slight, natural improvement while others want a Hollywood smile. We assess each person individually and educate our patients so they have a good understanding of the latest techniques available to meet their needs. We start off by giving our patients a comprehensive exam to find out what their specific concerns are – whether they are functional problems related to their mouths or strictly cosmetic problems.”
The practice was started in 1970 by Dr. Horn’s father, William B. Horn D.D.S. who is now retired, and it is currently run by Seth and his wife, Dide Tosyali D.M.D. Both the doctors are graduates of Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston and are always looking to expand their services to better serve their patients. The doctors also pride themselves on the relationships they are able to build with their patients and providing a staff that is committed to excellent customer service.
Ongoing advancements allow for continual improvements in cosmetic dentistry. Advancements such as the use of Invisalign® and mini implants are now an integral part of this practice. The doctors also use the intra-oral camera which allows patients to see what’s going on in their mouths and digital x-ray machines which not only result in lower emissions of radiation than conventional equipment, but also help with patient diagnosis.
Helping patients solve their dental problems in a personal and consistent manner is the ultimate goal of this practice. “I take it all the way from diagnosis though treatment and see the finished product,” says Dr. Horn. “Seeing the pleased expressions on our patients’ faces when they look in the mirror after the work has been done is a powerful thing. It’s a great moment!”
