“I have always believed that dentistry needs to do more than just ‘fix teeth,’” says Dr. Victor Zeines who has been practicing Holistic Dentistry for over 25 years. Dr. Zeines, who has offices in Woodstock and New York City not only has a degree from New York University College of Dentistry but also a M.S. in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. He is the author of Healthy Mouth, Healthy Body and A Patient’s Guide to Tongue Placement. He also makes regular appearances on television and hosts the “Healthy Mouth, Healthy Body” show on NYTalkRadio.net.
Dr. Zeines uses a combination of homeopathy, kinesthesiology, nutrition, and aromatic therapy along with bio-compatible materials in a gentle, relaxed atmosphere. He uses non-surgical techniques for the treatment of periodontal disease and his offices have been mercury free for twenty years. Using holistically methods, he also treats patients with issues such as recurrent canker sores and TMJ. He not only treats patients, but also designs and sells products, such as PerioHealth Rinse, to encourage periodontal health and ultimately increase overall health.
