the breakthrough technology for treatment resistant depression
Randy Ian Pardell, MD, DFAPA established Riverview Psychiatric Medicine, PC and the TMS Center of the Hudson Valley with the goal of providing the most innovative and scientifically based psychiatric care to patients in the Hudson Valley. The physiological and psychological aspects of each patient create an individualized treatment plan. Treatment modalities include psychopharmacology, medication management, psychotherapy, genetic testing, serum biomaker testing, bioidentical hormone supplementation and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
The TMS Center of the Hudson Valley is proud to be one of the first practices in the country to offer TMS therapy. Dr. Pardell is a leader in the field of applied TMS, helping patients who suffer with treatment resistant depression. TMS is a non invasive, in office procedure that uses an MRI strength magnet to direct a pulsed magnetic wave at the area of the brain responsible for depression. Patients resume normal activity immediately after treatment. Dr. Pardell offers free monthly seminars to patients, potential patients, family members and friends on TMS.
