Explanation and Vision of Accelerator

Orange County Business Accelerator is more than just a landlord for start-up businesses- it represents a much larger picture. The Accelerator is a mentor and facilitator. It combines technology and innovation in a state-of-the-art business management center. Our purpose is to help businesses extend their reach far beyond the borders of Orange County and simultaneously grow Orange into the most business-friendly environment in the Hudson Valley. We give you the tools necessary to grow and the advantages necessary to compete. We offer our clients state-of-the-art high speed internet, a 22-person conference room equipped with an integrated audio/video system and a captive reception area. In addition to office space and technology, the Accelerator can provide in-house management, marketing, legal and accounting services Nowhere else will you find a more inclusive and dynamic economic stimulus package.

Deliverables and Advantages
Orange County Business Accelerator offers 10,000 square feet of Class A office, R&D and flex space, and is designed to attract entrepreneurs by providing businesses with a menu of mentoring programs, a high-tech plug-and-play office environment, below-market occupancy costs and access to venture capital including the Orange County Industrial Development Agency’s own fund.

Broadband internet service, Wi-Fi, a 22-person conference room equipped with an integrated video-conferencing system and a dynamic reception area highlight the Accelerator’s competitive advantage. In addition to office space and technology, the Accelerator can provide in-house management, marketing, legal and accounting services as well as access to academic and corporate partners.

The Accelerator also provides a unique environment to build relationships with local, state and federal public officials. By joining the Accelerator, you’ll be afforded the opportunity to interact with public officials from all levels of government through our various seminars and guest appearances - a key advantage to success in today’s business world.

Associate Client Services

All of the above, minus a permanent office.

Associate Clients are required to reserve general office by phoning OCBA Client Services Specialist (soon to be by internet reservation). No-show after 20 minutes without notification to OCBA client services of delay results in forfeiture of reservation to others that have need for the space.
