A CIA graduate who trained with Abigail Kirsch, Chef Wenda Gardner provides clients with Southern hospitality and home cooking. Off-premises catering is available as are private outdoor weddings for 75-100 at Intimate Occasions by Chef Wenda in Hyde Park. Catering on Occasion offers four wedding packages ranging from $30-$75 per person, and featured dishes include broiled tilapia topped with pineapple mango chutney accompanied by lobster corn pudding topped with fried yam julienne sticks and sautéed spinach; roast beef with wild mushroom artichoke ragout and cabernet jus accompanied by spaghetti squash and steamed broccoli; and Chef Wenda's signature dessert— Southern Strawberry Punchbowl Cake, which is composed of layered yellow cake, strawberries, pineapple chunks, and vanilla pudding topped with whipped cream.
