Description:

The Ten Broeck Mansion was erected in 1798 by General Abraham Ten Broeck in Albany and is the headquarters of the Albany County Historical Association, (ACHA), a non-profit state-chartered organization that helps preserve and exemplify the history and heritage of New York's Capital Region. The association owns and operates the Ten Broeck Mansion, designated by New York State as a "historic house museum," and its programs, and is active in the community as an educational entity and catalyst for historic preservation.
The historic building is surrounded by beautiful gardens and grounds that are maintained by Master Gardeners of the Cornell Co-operative Extension.
The mansion is available for weddings and special events. Tours run from May through October: Thurs.-Fri. 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sat.-Sun. 1-4 p.m. Admission $5, $4 students and seniors, $3 children under 12, free for members.
