One of our favorite summer drinks is the Sangria. In fact, we love it so much, we wrote an entire feature about it (read it here)! Lucky for us, our friends at La Puerta Azul put their own spin on this classic cocktail with the Sangria Margarita; see below for the recipe to try it at home. Salud!

For a pitcher of regular Sangria:

1 bottle burgundy red wine
1 oz. apricot brandy
1 oz. regular brandy
1 oz. peach schnapps
1 oz. amaretto

Combine liquor and fruits to personal taste

For a personal Sangria Margarita:

1.5 oz. Cabo Wabo blanco tequila
1 oz. cointreau
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. red sangria
