With gorgeous Berkshire views, this winery — founded in 1972 — produces seven table wines, including a rosé, vintage Seyval Blanc, and dessert wine. New to Cascade is Heavenly Daze, a dessert wine jelly for meat and poultry. Tours, tastings, gift shop, wine and tapas bar, art gallery, picnics on porch or lawn, corporate and private events, including weddings.

Clinton Vineyards, Clinton Corners
Open: Year-round; Thurs.-Sun.
Established in 1977, Clinton Vineyards specializes in award-winning fruit wines, French-style whites, and sparkling wines made in the authentic méthode champenoise. Since founder (and Hudson Valley wine pioneer) Ben Feder’s death in 2009, his wife, Phyllis, has been running the 100-acre operation. “We support the local agriculture by purchasing local fruits for our fruit wines, and we grow all of our own grapes,” she says. Self-guided tours, tastings, gift shop, corporate and private events, including weddings.
SIP THIS: Cassis — Clinton’s world-famous black currant wine.
Millbrook Vineyards & Winery, Millbrook
Open: Year-round, daily
Considered one of the best wineries in the state, Millbrook Winery has been operated by owner John S. Dyson and wine-maker John Graziano for more than 25 years. Daily tours showcase the entire process from grape vines to bottling lines, concluding with a tasting. Gift shop, corporate and private events, including weddings, outdoor grill and café open weekends, one-mile walking trail through the vineyard.
SIP THIS: Hunt Country — a wine series consisting of three proprietary blends of white, red, and rosé.
DON’T MISS: Reserve tasting, June-Nov. with guided tour, wine tasting, samples of olive oil and biscuits, $20.
Oak Summit Vineyard, Millbrook

Owners John and Nancy Bruno started this boutique-style winery in 1988 after they sold the family’s Pen & Pencil restaurant in New York City. They make Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from 100 percent estate-grown grapes, and have begun selling Cabernet Franc grapes to other wineries. All wines retail for $35 a bottle.
SIP THIS: Chardonnay — rated best wine in the Hudson Valley by the New York Cork Report.
