Senior Editor Polly Sparling lists her top event picks for June 2013

Lots to see — and buy — at the Tivoli Artists Gallery this month. The members of this artists’ co-op collaborate on “No Constraints,” a group show of their latest work (through June 23). The collective also hosts a weekend-long Pop-Up Art Show and Sale, featuring works in a variety of media by 20 Valley artists (June 28-30; opening reception June 29, 6-8 p.m.). Gallery hours Fri. 5-9 p.m., Sat. 1-9 p.m., Sun. 1-5 p.m. • 60 Broadway, Tivoli. 845-757-2667 or www.tivoliartistsgallery.com

kaatsbaan dance

A trio of NYC dance companies take the stage at Kaatsbaan International Dance Center. First up: Choreographer Jennifer Muller and her company, the Works (June 8 at 7:30 p.m. $30, $10 children). Project 44 (pictured), an all-male troupe based in Queens, appears on June 9 in a program supported by the state’s Council on the Arts Dance Program (2:30 p.m. $10 suggested donation). Gilbert and Sullivan: The Ballet, set to music by the eponymous Victorian composers, is performed by Dances Patrelle (June 15-16. Sat. 7:30 p.m., Sun. 2:30 p.m. $30, $10 children). • 120 Broadway, Tivoli. 845-757-5106 or www.kaatsbaan.org

the price is right

If you’ve always dreamed of appearing on TV’s most popular game show, well then — come on down to the Palace Theatre for The Price is Right Live! This interactive stage version of the game pulls players from the audience, who compete for the chance to win appliances, vacations, and even new cars by guessing the prices of different merchandise; more than $10 million has been won over the course of the stage show’s nine-year history. June 7 at 7:30 p.m. $32.75-$52.75. • 19 Clinton Ave., Albany. 518-465-3334 or www.palacealbany.com

guys and dolls

Based on Damon Runyon’s short stories about Prohibition-era New York City — and with a memorable score (“Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat”) by Frank Loesser — Guys and Dolls is considered to be one of Broadway’s all-time greatest musicals. From gangsters, gamblers, and showgirls to the do-gooders at the Save a Soul Mission, the show is chockablock with characters as unique as the city they inhabit. Catch the Westchester Broadway Theatre’s production of this multiple Emmy-winner through June 9. Call or visit Web site for exact schedule. $52-$80. • 1 Broadway Plaza, Elmsford. 914-592-2222 or www.broadwaytheatre.com

secret garden tour

Formal gardens, pastoral fields, flower beds, leafy landscapes — all are part of Putnam County’s Secret Garden Tour. Take a self-guided drive to both private and public garden sites throughout the county, each of which boasts beautiful blooms of every description. This year’s lineup includes Stonecrop Garden in Cold Spring (with its unusual Bamboo Grove) and Boscobel in Garrison (whose Rose Garden has a jaw-dropping view of the Hudson). June 8 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. $30 in advance, $40 on the day — with proceeds benefiting Putnam ARC, which offers support to local children and adults with developmental disabilities. • 845-278-7272, ext. 2287 or www.partnerswithparc.org
