Organic Offering

Mother Earth’s Storehouse co-owners Chris Schneider and Kevin Schneider (second and third from left) present a $25,000 check to Antonetta Gutter, director of development for the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. Between May and December of last year, the organic grocery store’s “Customer Rewards Cards” program contributed one percent of each customer sale to the food bank, which serves over 350 food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens throughout the Valley. (This year’s drive, which began in January, is already in full swing.) Also in attendance is Chris White (far left), district representative for Congressman Maurice Hinchey; and State Assemblywoman Nancy Calhoun (far right).
