Summer Fun in the Hudson Valley 2012
Summer is just around the corner — and so are loads of great places to enjoy it
Staycations are all the rage at the moment, and fortunately the Valley is the perfect place to have one. Try taking a fly-fishing trip or a bike ride on one of our rail trails. If gas prices are keeping sports fans away from baseball in the city, you can root for one of our two homegrown teams. And of course, we can’t have summer without beaches and water parks to cool us off.
So pile your friends and family in the car, and get going!
Meet our two local baseball teams: Hudson Valley Renegades in Wappingers Falls, NY and Rockland Boulders in Pomona, NY
Come fly with me: Air shows and vintage plane museum at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Red Hook, NY
Take a trail ride or horse riding lesson at any of these Hudson Valley stables
