3-D Daze Nov. 24-25: Kids immerse themselves in the stimulating world of 3-D for a day. Participants construct wire and craft stick sculptures, challenge their abilities with games, read books, and even learn how to draw images — all in 3-D. Tracking Coyotes Nov. 10: Did you know that coyotes thrive in suburban settings? Find out all there is to know about how these animals live and communicate with each other; compare coyote, fox, and dog tracks; and listen to coyote calls. After you’ve become an expert on these fascinating canids, take a hike around the Outdoor Discovery Center to search for signs of coyotes. Fall Family Fiesta II Nov. 3: Thanks to Robert Burke Warren, aka “Uncle Rock” of Phoenicia, parents and children now can enjoy music together. “I am on a mission to bring music back to families, not just as a commodity, but as a resource that can be used by folks young and old to strengthen bonds and inspire creativity at the same time,” says Warren, who has been performing as Uncle Rock for three years.
