Eat out at Charlotte’s in Millbrook this month

You’ll feel like you’ve arrived at a manor house in horse country when you enter Charlotte’s inviting eatery. Tucked away in the heart of Millbrook’s rolling hills, the circa 1834 building actually started out as a church. There’s a mood of relaxed, country elegance; the varied menu changes every day, and featured dishes can run the gamut from rack of lamb with Cognac sauce to rigatoni Bolognese. In warm weather, diners head for the delightful patio; when there’s a nip in the air, enjoy brunch or dinner in front of one of four wood-burning fireplaces. They also cater special events.
