Eat out at Vico Restaurant in Hudson this month

With a name that means “village” in the Tuscan dialect, Vico Restaurant has been doling out Northern Italian fare to Warren Street’s shoppers for the past three years. Our reviewer, who visited last fall, was impressed by the restaurant’s warm and colorful dining room, the “sizeable” dinner menu, and the carefully chosen wine list. The signature Bistecca Fiorentina (left) is a mammoth 22-ounce porterhouse (supplied by grass-fed herds raised at Grazin’ Angus Acres in Ghent). Grilled with olive oil and sea salt, it is served with a side of Tuscan fries (which are seasoned with rosemary, sage, thyme, and cayenne pepper). Molto Italiano!
