Plenty goes on in these parts between weekends, so we rounded up a highlight of each day and/or night from now through this Thursday, hopefully making the interminable wait til Friday a bit less endless.

Monday:

Karaoke Mondays at Waterworks Pub, Albany

You better warm up your vocal chords for this Albany gay pub-come-club’s weekly karaoke dance party. Sing away your Monday blues by choosing from more than 175,000 songs and taking part in drink specials that flow until 2 am. And FYI, Waterworks hosts a different event every night of the week. Round two on Tipsy Tuesday, anyone?

Tuesday:

Taste of Warwick, Warwick

This farm-to-table fest features fine foodie creations from culinary connoisseurs in a celebration of Warwick-exclusive eats. The 22nd annual event boasts the town’s many talented restaurateurs, wine buffs, and brewers at Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery for a night of fresh eats and pours, all sourced from local farms.

Wednesday:

Snowden Live, Millerton

For one night only, Millerton’s The Moviehouse will feature the story of one of the most notorious men in the world, Edward Snowden. Having famously leaked classified information on national surveillance programs from the NSA in 2013, his many untold personal stories will be exposed during an exclusive advanced screening Snowden, Oliver Stone's new dramatized film, followed by a live-via-satellite Q&A between Snowden and Oliver Stone.

Thursday:

Catskill Mountain Thunder Motorcycle Festival, East Durham

Rev up your engines for four days of freestyle shows, death-defying stunts, scenic rides, a pig roast, and even spaghetti wrestling at the Catskills’ Blackthorne Resort. It all kicks off on Thursday with a pre-festival party at 5 pm, featuring free food, beer, bike games, and live entertainment from Canadian rock band Shovelhead.
