Ed.: We can’t wait for warmer weather, so from now until the official start of spring (that’s March 20 — mark your calendars!) and beyond, we’re delivering our top 15 signs of spring. Check daily for more posts.

Countdown to Spring (Day 15): Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival Tour

For 28 years, the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival has performed Shakespeare’s plays at the open-air theater tent at Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison. Since, the performers have traveled beyond the tent to bring Shakespeare all around the Valley. This year’s spring 2015 production will be Macbeth, on tour from March 23 to May 1.

Look out for — or beg! — your favorite local organizations to book the 90-minute show in your hometown. And be sure to mark your calendars for June 9, when the HVSF troupe returns to Boscobel for its official 2015 season.

You can follow the Macbeth tour at the HVSF’s official Facebook page here. Visit their Web site at for more information about the performances, or click here to view their summer schedule.
